Work in Progress: Vintage VWs # 2 - Working Title: Waiting to be Great (again)
The second in the Sleeping Beauties series of Vintage VWs features an Oval Window Beetle, an Oval Window Cabriolet, with a Porsche Super 90 Engine and an SO42 Split Screen Camper Van, found resting in a junkyard in the USA.
The eagle-eyed amongst you will notice that the cabriolet is currently missing rear bumper support fastenings, as this is detail that is usually added as the image detail is built-up in layers. Even in this un-finished state, Andrew Summerfield has managed to pack so much detail in to this image – you can almost pick the paint off of the rear quarter panel on the Cabriolet.
